Final Reflection

-Not, its my last writing for explain about my evaluation of English since we began the course until now.

During this year we have doing a lot of different writings. I can see differences with my first writing document and my last composition, for example now I know more vocabulary than the beggining of the course and you can see this in my last composition because I speak about the environment.

About my two oral presentation I have to accept that the second it's better. One of the things that I think this it's in the first oral presentation I studied more. But I think that the better was the reading exam because it was about a book that we have read and when I am doing an oral presentation I am nervous and in this exam only you explain everything to your teacher.

-This is my best oral presentation: http://annaenglishspace-2batx.blogspot.com/2010/11/oral-presentation.html . It's about google and I did with my friend Kim. I choose it and not other because this oral presentation I wasn't nervous, the vocabulary was more rich and we used discourse markers.

ANd my best writing is: http://annaenlighspace-2batx.blogspot.com/2010/11/justin-bieber.html . It's about Justin Bieber and I think that it's the best writing because I wrote about a topic that I want. I think that the structure it's fine and also the vocabulary. When you write about a topic that you want, you know more information about it and it's better.

-I wish that in the future I will learn more English. For this reason the next year I will do a subject with English in the University, if I can I like travel abroud...

-I think that my level in second of batxillerat it's better than the first of batxillerat. The things that I don't like do it's for example the blog, because I think it isn't efficient. For example do writings it's good, but it's better doing in class and give to your teacher, and after see your mistakes, but only this is my opinion.

Environment phrase

20% of the world's population consumes 80% of it's resources.

With this sentence I can understand that are not good the repertory of the resources in the world. Only 20% of people consumes 80% of the resources and 80% of people only consumes 20%. This sencente it's very big.

In our world there are people who live perfectly and other live how they can because they haven't got for example much clothes, food...

I think that all people have the same rights but we can say that you grow up in the place where you grow up and you can have luck or not.
I think that the differences of the countries are unavoidable.

Royal Wedding of Pince William & Kate Middleton

Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton

The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London. Prince William, second in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II, first met Catherine Middleton in 2001, when both were studying at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement on 20 October 2010 was announced on 16 November 2010. The build-up to the wedding and the occasion itself attracted much media attention, with the service being broadcast live around the world, and being compared and contrasted in many ways with the 1981 marriage of William's parents, Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. Some estimates said two billion people watched the wedding across the world, and 24.5 million watched the event live in the UK,[1], but the verified TV audience was closer to 300 million people globally.[2]

Much of the attention focused on Kate Middleton's status as a commoner (i.e., not of recent royal blood or a part of the aristocracy) marrying into royalty. Hours before the service, the Queen conferred the titles Duke of Cambridge, Earl of Strathearn, and Baron Carrickfergus upon William. Upon her marriage, Middleton therefore became Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge, but is not styled as 'Princess Catherine'.

As Prince William was not the heir apparent to the throne, the wedding was not a full state occasion and many details were left to the couple to decide, such as much of the the guest list of about 1,900. It was a public holiday in the United Kingdom and featured many ceremonial aspects, including use of the state carriages and roles for the Foot Guards and Household Cavalry. It was attended by most of the Royal Family, as well as many foreign royals, diplomats, and the couple's chosen personal guests.

Middleton wore a white dress with a 270-centimetre (110 in) train, by British designer Sarah Burton, as well as a tiara lent to her by the Queen. Prince William wore the uniform of his honorary rank of Colonel of the Irish Guards. William's best man was his brother, Prince Harry, while the bride's sister, Pippa, acted as her maid of honour. The wedding ceremony began at 11:00 am BST (UTC+1). John Robert Hall, the Dean of Westminster, conducted the service, with Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, conducting the marriage ceremony itself and Richard Chartres, the Bishop of London, giving the sermon. A reading was given by the bride's brother, James. After the ceremony, the newly married couple travelled in procession to Buckingham Palace for the traditional appearance on the balcony and a flypast before crowds assembled in The Mall. Later the Prince drove his Duchess the short distance to Clarence House in his father's classic Aston Martin DB6 Volante,[3] decorated by Prince Harry and James Middleton with a number plate "JU5T WED".

Following the wedding, the couple intend to continue living on Anglesey in North Wales, where Prince William is based as an RAF Search and Rescue pilot.

Dear Mr John Rich,

My name is Anna Vilà and I am a student of IES Castelló d’Empúries, from Spain. I write you this letter to express my opinion about the disaster in the Japan.

First of all, I think that what happened it was a big natural disaster because of the Tsunami and the Earthquake. But now, one of the biggest problems is the radiation of the nuclear power.

In addition, due to this radiation, a lot of people are in danger right now, and they can not eat neither drink anything, because everything is infected.

Moreover, this tragical problem not only has affected food, but also people’s health. This radiation can cause mental and physical problems to the present and the next generations, increasing the number of diseases.

As long as no one can stop this situation, those innocent people will live in pain, so we all should help them and try to find a solution as soon as possible.

Yours sincerely

Anna Vilà
